Trattoria, the beloved Italian eatery nestled among the Venetian canals of Souk Madinat Jumeirah, is bringing a taste of the Mediterranean coast to the emirate this month to coincide with the 16th Italian Cuisine World Summit.
From 5-7 November, Trattoria will celebrate the best of modern Italian seafood through the creative lens of two talented young chefs. Marco Bernardo, chef at the Michelin-starred La Magnolia in the Tuscan town of Forte dei Marmi, join forces with Omar El Ajmi, Trattoria’s Head Chef, for a special menu that celebrates the spirit of the sea.
With both chefs in their early thirties and shaped by years spent in acclaimed kitchens across Europe, the collaboration reflects a new generation of Italian culinary talent: Creative, precise, and inspired by their country’s abundant coastlines.
The three-night, four-hands collaboration includes a four-course menu highlighting the purity and vibrancy of seafood. From delicate amberjack paired with Stracciatella and Nepitella to charcoal-grilled sea bass and langoustine pasta, every dish captures the freshness, texture, and soul of Italy’s coastal heritage.
