Flayva, the vibrant street food hall at Al Ghurair Centre, is proud to announce its participation in the city-wide Season of Wulfa initiative throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan. Embracing the spirit of unity, Flayva has curated a programme designed to strengthen social bonds through shared meals, charitable giving, and family-focused celebrations.
At the heart of this season’s activities is a dedicated donation box, launched in partnership with the Beit Al Khair Society. Conveniently located at the food hall’s entrance throughout Ramadan and Eid, the initiative invites visitors to combine their dining experience with a powerful act of kindness. Guests are encouraged to donate essential items – including clean clothes, shoes, blankets, towels, toys, and children’s storybooks – embodying the Holy Month’s timeless values and ensuring every contribution directly supports those in need.
Beyond the donation drive, Flayva continues to inspire the next generation through creativity. From 6-9pm from 13-17 March, children can participate in daily arts and crafts workshops to create handmade toys. Each evening, the 20 young creators are then given the choice of keeping their treasures or gifting them to the donation box. Participation is complimentary with a minimum spend of Dh50 at any of Flayva’s F&B concepts, with spaces on a first-come, first-served basis.
The festivities culminate in the Little Eid Fest from 4-7pm on the first day of Eid Al Fitr, featuring parlour games, live performances, and an exciting treasure hunt. Limited to 50 spaces, families register on-site with proof once more of a minimum Dh50 spend at Flayva.
By blending flavours of the world with a deep-rooted commitment to community, Flayva remains a cornerstone of belonging in the heart of Deira, inviting everyone to gather, give, and celebrate together.
