Since its launch in 2023 across three Middle Eastern hotels, Green Ramadan has made a significant impact, reducing food waste by an impressive 61% in just 30 days. In 2024, the programme expanded to 32 hotels across seven countries in EMEA & APAC, achieving a further 21% reduction against the previous year’s baseline. Now, Hilton is scaling the initiative even further, bringing sustainable iftar experiences to more properties, including DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island.
