IWC Schaffhausen proudly unveils its latest horological breakthroughs at Watches & Wonders 2026 in Geneva, headlined by a historic partnership with Vast to develop the first tool watch specifically engineered for human spaceflight. This year’s lineup focuses on high-performance materials and the debut of the IWC-ProSet® technology, featuring significant new additions to the Pilot’s Watch and Ingenieur collections.
Notable highlights include:
Pilot’s Venturer Vertical Drive
The centerpiece of IWC’s 2026 showcase, this is the first IWC tool watch engineered from the ground up for space exploration. Designed for use with space suit gloves, it features a patent-pending rotating bezel system and a case-side rocker switch, eliminating the traditional crown. It has received official spaceflight qualification from Vast for the upcoming Haven-1 commercial space station mission.
Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume®
Marking the official debut of IWC’s proprietary luminous ceramic technology, this timepiece features a fully luminous white ceramic case, dial, and strap. The Ceralume® technology allows the entire watch to emit a vivid blue glow for more than 24 hours.
Big Pilot’s Watch 43 Perpetual Calendar ProSet
Ushers in a new era of user-friendly complications with the IWC-ProSet® system. This gear-based design allows the perpetual calendar to be adjusted both forward and backward via the crown—a first for the brand—while maintaining a moon phase precision of 1,040 years.
Ingenieur Automatic 42 in Dark Olive Green Ceramic
For the first time, the Gérald Genta-inspired integrated design is presented in colored ceramic. This model pairs a dark olive green zirconium oxide ceramic case with a gold crown and screws, powered by the IWC-manufactured 82110 calibre.
Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41 in Titanium
The lightest perpetual calendar in IWC’s current portfolio, this model is crafted entirely from Grade 5 titanium. It features the signature “Grid” dial in matte grey, offering a striking monolithic aesthetic.
Ingenieur Automatic 35
IWC expands the 35mm collection with two sophisticated new versions. A luxury-focused model features an 18-carat 5N gold bezel set with 45 white diamonds, while a second variant debuts with a signature blue “Grid” dial, both offering enhanced ergonomics for a more compact wrist profile.
“Le Petit Prince” 20th Anniversary Editions
Celebrating two decades of partnership with the heirs of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, IWC introduces five commemorative Pilot’s Watches alongside a historic first for the Portofino line. This special anniversary lineup includes the Pilot’s Watch Mark XX in both 18-carat 5N gold and stainless steel, two Pilot’s Watch Chronographs in 43mm and 41mm (the latter crafted in striking white ceramic), and the Pilot’s Watch Automatic 36.
The collection also marks the debut of the Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34 Le Petit Prince, the first Portofino dedicated to the story. All models feature the iconic deep blue sunray dials and charming engravings of the Little Prince.
