As part of the official programme of MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants, La Petite Maison Abu Dhabi will host an exclusive 50 Best Signature Dinner in collaboration with acclaimed Kuwaiti chef Basmah Marouf, founder of Cantina, known for her ingredient-driven approach and modern interpretation of regional cuisine. Taking place on 5 February, the dinner marks a rare meeting, uniting Mediterranean craft with contemporary MENA creativity in an elegant four-hands dining experience, open to the public.
the event welcomes guests from 7.00 pm for a curated dinner experience featuring a four-course set menu created exclusively for the occasion. The kitchen will be fully dedicated to this menu for the evening, with no à la carte offering available. The bar will remain open throughout the night for drinks only, with à la carte beverages available. Seating is limited.
Chef Basmah Marouf has built her reputation on a cooking style that mirrors LPM’s own philosophy. Her cuisine is rooted in respect for ingredients, clarity of flavour, and a restrained yet confident hand. At Cantina, she is recognised for creating food that feels expressive yet composed, making her a natural partner for La Petite Maison.
The menu opens with a selection of starters that reflect the shared sensibility of both kitchens, where simplicity, balance and quality ingredients take centre stage. Dishes include Sea Bass Carpaccio with extra-virgin olive oil, lime and toasted coriander seeds, Endive and Fennel Salad with Mandarin and Pistachio and classic Escargots de Bourgogne with garlic butter, among others.
Main courses continue the dialogue between refinement and depth, drawing on LPM’s Mediterranean heritage and Basmah Marouf’s contemporary MENA perspective. Options include pastas such as Pici Cacio e Pepe with Parmigiano Reggiano and Black Pepper or Duck Confit with Orange and Endive. The menu also includes LPM’s famous Gratin Dauphinois as a side.
Dessert selections feature Panna Cotta with real vanilla bean and strawberries, classic Tiramisu, or Tarte Fine aux Pommes.
